The EVN Scholarship Program 2025 targets students in the following fields: electrical engineering, control and automation engineering, thermal engineering, computer science, information technology, electronics and telecommunications engineering, industrial economics , and related areas. Selection is based on three groups of criteria: academic performance, level of participation in social activities, and personal development potential.

On this occasion, EVN awarded 50 scholarships to students of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU), 50 scholarships to students of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), and 30 scholarships to students of Electric Power University (EPU). The scholarship recipients all have excellent academic achievements and actively participate in extracurricular activities, movements, and community work, thereby demonstrating their professional competence and sense of social responsibility.
The EVN 2025 scholarship program not only contributes to financial support for students but also demonstrates the Group's commitment to supporting education and developing high-quality human resources for the nation, especially in key sectors serving the country's industrialization and modernization.
According to EVN Deputy General Director Ngo Son Hai, the scholarship program and regular, comprehensive cooperation activities between EVN and universities are part of the implementation of the Party and State's policy on developing science and technology, innovation, and training high-quality human resources.

According to EVN Deputy General Director Ngo Son Hai, Vietnam's power system currently leads ASEAN in terms of power generation capacity, with a total system capacity reaching over 87,600 MW by the end of 2025. Renewable energy sources alone account for approximately 27.3% of the power generation capacity, demonstrating that the power system is gradually shifting towards a greener and more sustainable direction.
Along with expanding the scale of power sources and grids, EVN pays special attention to improving operational efficiency and digital transformation, specifically: maintaining the power loss rate at approximately 6% - equivalent to advanced countries in the region, 100% of electricity services have been provided online at level 4,...

High-quality human resources are the key factor determining the competitiveness and sustainable development of the electricity industry - EVN leaders affirmed. Therefore, the EVN scholarship program is considered one of the long-term solutions to cultivate and attract the next generation of young engineers for the Group.
Over the past four years, EVN has awarded a total of nearly 900 scholarships to outstanding students from various universities across the country.
