According to an announcement from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, students will have a Lunar New Year holiday from January 31, 2026 (Saturday) to March 1, 2026 (Sunday), totaling four weeks. Students will resume classes on March 2, 2026.
According to the school, the Tet holiday schedule is arranged appropriately to ensure students have ample time to relax with their families while maintaining their study pace for the new semester.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade has announced its Lunar New Year holiday schedule for the Year of the Horse, lasting four weeks, from February 9th, 2026 to March 8th, 2026 (corresponding to the 22nd day of the 12th lunar month to the 21st day of the 1st lunar month).

The Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance also announced that students will have a full month off for the Lunar New Year, from February 1st, 2026 to March 1st, 2026 (i.e., from the 14th day of the 12th lunar month to the 13th day of the 1st lunar month).
