General Introduction to Agribank

The Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) was established under Decree No. 53-HĐBT dated March 26, 1988, of the Council of Ministers (now the Government). Throughout its 36 years of development, under various names, Agribank has consistently affirmed its position and role as one of Vietnam's leading commercial banks, a key investor in the development of agriculture, rural areas, and farmers, at the forefront of implementing monetary policy, contributing to macroeconomic stability, inflation control, growth support, and social security.
