Denmark Man Utd midfielder Christian Eriksen responded when he heard Copenhagen coach criticize Old Trafford as less exciting than Parken.
Ahead of the Champions League group stage clash between the two teams, Copenhagen coach Jacob Neestrup claimed that Parken - his team's home ground - is 100 times more passionate than Man Utd's Old Trafford. The 35-year-old coach said he made this assessment after his experience in the first leg on October 24.
"You can't compare Old Trafford with Parken, because the level of tension on our pitch is 100 times higher than what we had two weeks ago. That's a standard, in my opinion, one level above the Premier League," Nestrup affirmed.

At the Man Utd press conference that followed, Eriksen was asked about his compatriot Nestrup's feelings. But the Danish midfielder laughed and replied: "I have never played against Copenhagen there, only played there with the national team. I admit the atmosphere when playing for the national team is very special, so I look forward to their organization this time. But I'm not sure if they can create a better atmosphere than Old Trafford."
Not only did Nestrup lower the opponent's home field, he also focused his attention on Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund, two Danish players currently playing for Man Utd. The Copenhagen coach said his team knew how to neutralize these two players.
Copenhagen played well in the first leg and almost got a point. They lost 0-1 thanks to the only goal from center-back Harry Maguire, and Andre Onana's stoppage-time penalty save from Jordan Larsson.
Before the second leg, some Copenhagen players commented that they were favourites against Man Utd when playing at home. Eriksen once again responded: "That's their opinion. We have our own opinion. I know football is fun, but in the end, the result is important. If they feel they are favourites, then win. But I believe Man Utd will enter the match with confidence and aim for victory."
