This afternoon, Eximbank decided to dismiss Ms. Luong Thi Cam Tu from her position as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors for the 2020-2025 term and elect Ms. Do Ha Phuong to replace her.
The resolution takes effect immediately. This information was announced by Mr. Tran Tan Loc, General Director of Eximbank, in a document sent to the State Securities Commission.
"To arrive at this important personnel appointment decision, the Eximbank Board of Directors held a meeting in accordance with regulations," the press release issued this evening stated.

Ms. Do Ha Phuong, born in 1984, has over 15 years of experience in the finance and banking sector. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the United States and a Master's degree in Finance from the United Kingdom. She joined the Board of Directors of Eximbank as a member in February 2022.
Earlier this year, Eximbank held an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders to approve the resignations of two Board members and elect three new members for the seventh term (2022-2025). The three new members Eximbank wanted to appoint to the Board were Ms. Le Thi Mai Loan, Mr. Pham Quang Dung, and Mr. Tran Anh Thang. However, this meeting failed due to insufficient quorum. A second extraordinary meeting was held in February, and the proposal to add these members was finally approved. In mid-April, the resignations of two more Board members were also approved. Currently, the company's Board of Directors has five members, including one independent member.
