Early on the morning of May 25th, according to observations by reporters from the Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper, many Facebook users in Vietnam unexpectedly encountered an error displaying the post time on the web version.
Specifically, instead of displaying the posting time, this section shows a strange string of characters. However, when the mouse cursor is hovered over this area, the pop-up window still displays the correct posting time.
The issue only occurred on the web interface; the mobile version was unaffected.
By approximately 9:20 AM that same day, the display error had been fixed, but Facebook has not yet released any official information regarding the incident.

Facebook is experiencing a time display error.
This isn't the first time the platform has encountered a similar error. Previously, in mid-April 2026, Facebook also displayed unusual posting times.
In reality, Facebook frequently experiences errors during operation. At the end of April 2026, many users reported that the app crashed unexpectedly shortly after opening, accompanied by the message "Facebook has closed because this app is experiencing an error."
Additionally, some users experience problems when watching videos , such as content automatically switching or incomplete display even with a stable internet connection.
This issue primarily appears on the mobile version and has not yet been completely resolved.
Despite the numerous errors that occur, Facebook often chooses to handle them quietly rather than publicly, only speaking out in cases of serious incidents that cause widespread or prolonged disruption.
