Galaxy S24 FE only uses Exynos 2400e chip

The S24 FE is expected to have a 6.65-inch AMOLED display with a maximum brightness of 1,900 nits. Accordingly, similar to the phones in the S24 series, the Galaxy S24 FE will have a flat bezel (unlike the slightly curved bezel of the S23 FE). The device has dimensions of 162.06 x 77.36 x 8.05 mm, longer, wider and thinner than its predecessor (158.0 x 76.5 x 8.2 mm of the S23 FE).

The front of the phone has a thick screen border, especially the bottom part, along with a punch-hole selfie camera in the middle and a speaker above the screen.

The device has a 10MP front camera, accompanied by a triple-lens camera cluster and flash. The rear triple camera system includes: a 50MP main sensor with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera and an 8MP/10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Both the main camera and telephoto camera support optical image stabilization (OIS).

Normally, Samsung will prioritize using Snapdragon processors on high-end Galaxy S phones for the US, Korean and some other countries, while the rest will experience Exynos chips.

However, according to data from Geekbench, the US version of the Galaxy S24 FE will be launched with the Exynos 2400e chip. This means that Samsung has chosen the Exynos processor in all regions.

Accordingly, the SM-S721U will be the Galaxy S24 FE version sold in the US. This device uses an Exynos processor coded S5E9945 (which is the Exynos 2400). During the review, it can be seen that the high-performance core has been reduced to 3.11GHz, while the remaining cores have the same clock speed as the Exynos 2400; using a low-clock chip will help the device extend battery life.

It is likely that the device will be equipped with 12GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of internal memory. With a 4,565 mAh battery, Samsung claims that the Galaxy S24 FE can last up to 78 hours of music playback and 29 hours of video playback on a single charge.

At launch, the S24 FE will come with One UI 6.1.1 on Android 14 with full Galaxy AI features like Portrait Studio, Generative Edit, Circle to Search, Sketch to Image and Live Translate. Most likely, this model will enjoy the same 7-year software update policy as other S24 models.
