Attending the meeting were: Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Le Thu Ha; Vice Chairman of the National Ethnic Council Quang Van Huong; National Assembly Deputy working full-time at the Committee on National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Thai Quynh Mai Dung; National Assembly Deputy working full-time at the Committee on Culture and Social Affairs Duong Minh Anh; and President of Miss Multicultural World 2026 Phan Kim Oanh.

Welcoming the Organizing Committee and contestants of the Miss World Culture 2026 pageant to the National Assembly, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Le Thu Ha expressed hope that the visit to the underground archaeological site of the National Assembly, the National Assembly Museum, and the Dien Hong Hall would help them better understand the Vietnamese National Assembly and the values that make up Vietnamese identity.

The Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office stated that, with representatives from many different cultures, despite differences in language, traditions, and identity, the contestants of the Miss World Culture pageant all share a common point: a desire to preserve cultural values, strengthen friendship, and work together towards a world of peace, cooperation, and sustainable development.

Sharing his thoughts on the National Assembly building, the Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office stated that it is not only where the Vietnamese National Assembly performs its legislative, supervisory, and decision-making functions on important national issues, but also a building of special cultural value.

Built on the foundation of the more than thousand-year-old Thang Long Imperial Citadel, the National Assembly building is a testament to the continuity between tradition and modernity, between historical heritage and an integrated, developing Vietnam.
For the Vietnamese people, Dien Hong is a symbol of national unity, of the strength of consensus and the will to overcome all challenges for peace, independence, and development.

These are also the values that the Vietnamese National Assembly continues to uphold and promote in the process of building a socialist rule of law state, developing the country, and integrating into the international community.

According to the Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office, Vietnam has always considered culture as the spiritual foundation of society, and also values the role of women in the cause of national construction and development.

In its legislative function, the Vietnamese National Assembly continuously strives to improve the system of policies and laws aimed at preserving and promoting national cultural values, fostering gender equality, and creating conditions for all women to develop their talents, intellect, and capabilities, contributing increasingly to society.

The Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office expressed confidence that, with their intelligence, courage, and compassion, each contestant present today will continue to inspire many young women, not only to dare to dream and assert themselves, but also to contribute to preserving and spreading good values and making positive contributions to the community.

The Chairwoman of Miss Multicultural World 2026 sincerely thanks the leaders of the National Assembly, the leaders of the National Assembly Office, and the agencies of the National Assembly for their profound interest in creating conditions for the contestants participating in the Miss Multicultural World 2026 competition to have the opportunity to visit and learn about the history, culture, and activities of the highest state power organ.

The President of Miss Multicultural World 2026 emphasized that this is a valuable opportunity for international contestants to learn more about Vietnam – a country rich in cultural traditions, always valuing peace, cooperation, and sustainable development. She believes that today's experiences will contribute to giving international beauty representatives a deeper understanding of the friendly, hospitable, and culturally rich Vietnamese people, who are constantly striving for progress in the era of integration.

Each contestant is a cultural ambassador, carrying pride in their homeland, and becoming a bridge to bring the image of Vietnam and its people closer to international friends.
