Lam Dong province has the highest purchase price in the Central Highlands region, at 89,700 VND/kg. Dak Lak and Gia Lai provinces are trading at 89,500 VND/kg.
Domestic coffee prices have recorded their sharpest increase in weeks. Previously, in May 2026, coffee prices had at times fallen to just over 80,000 VND/kg. The price surged to nearly 90,000 VND/kg thanks to the impetus from the global coffee market and the hoarding behavior of coffee farmers in the Central Highlands region.

Experts predict that from now until the end of June, domestic coffee prices may continue to experience strong upward surges.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, in the first five months of 2026, Vietnam's coffee exports reached 972,000 tons worth $4.41 billion, an increase of 13% in volume but a decrease of 9.8% in value compared to the same period in 2025.
The average export price of coffee in the first five months was estimated at US$4,535 per ton, a decrease of 20.1% compared to the same period in 2015. Germany, Italy, and the United States are the three largest coffee consuming markets for Vietnam, accounting for market shares of 14.9%, 8.1%, and 7% respectively.

In 2025, Vietnam's coffee exports reached a record value of over $8.9 billion. According to estimates by the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association, coffee exports this year will reach nearly $10 billion.
