According to records on June 13, the live hog market in the North continued to have no new fluctuations. In localities such as Hanoi , Bac Giang, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen, Thai Binh, Quang Binh and Nghe An, the price of live hogs remained at 69,000 VND/kg.
Pig price on June 13 did not record any fluctuations in any locality.
Some other provinces such as Nam Dinh, Ha Nam , Ha Tinh, Vinh Phuc, Yen Bai, Lao Cai and Ninh Binh still maintain the level of 68,000 VND/kg.
The fact that the price level has remained stable for three consecutive days shows that the market in the Northern region is approaching a state of supply-demand balance, less affected by seasonal factors or fluctuations from traders.
The Central Highlands region also did not record any adjustments today. Pig prices in Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa , Thua Thien Hue and Quang Binh remained around 69,000 VND/kg; Quang Tri remained at 68,000 VND/kg.
Some Central Highlands provinces recorded high pork prices: Lam Dong at 73,000 VND/kg, Dak Lak and Ninh Thuan at 72,000 VND/kg, Binh Thuan still maintained the highest mark in the region at 74,000 VND/kg.
This is considered the region that maintained the most stable high price level in the country in the first half of June, despite slight fluctuations in other regions.
In the South, the price of live pigs has not changed today. Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Thap, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Thuan, Ca Mau, Bac Lieu, Soc Trang, Tra Vinh, Kien Giang and Hau Giang still maintain the price of 74,000 VND/kg.
In the slightly lower group, An Giang, Vinh Long and Can Tho are currently holding prices at VND73,000/kg, while Ben Tre is at VND72,000/kg.
The two localities with the highest pork prices in the region are Tay Ninh and Long An, both reaching 75,000 VND/kg - the highest price in the country at the present time.
The fact that the South did not continue to adjust prices after a slight decrease on June 8 shows that the market is maintaining a stable rhythm and is not under pressure from oversupply.
