| Farmers in Chau Duc district are harvesting pepper. |
After adjustments, the highest pepper prices were recorded in Dak Nong and Dak Lak at 157,000 VND/kg; followed by Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Binh Phuoc at 156,000 VND/kg; and Gia Lai at 155,000 VND/kg.
According to farmers, pepper production is being heavily impacted by the weather. The prolonged drought in the early months of 2025 has negatively affected major pepper-growing regions in the Central Highlands and Southeast Vietnam. The limited post-harvest supply, coupled with stable and high world prices, continues to fuel a strong rebound in pepper prices.
* According to a survey conducted on April 25th, the prices of some fertilizer products in the Southeast and Central Highlands regions increased by 10-40 thousand VND per bag.

In this price adjustment, the price of powdered potassium fertilizer increased by up to 40,000 VND/bag.
