The domestic USD exchange rate continues to rise.
At the start of trading on June 24th, the State Bank of Vietnam announced the central exchange rate of the Vietnamese Dong against the US Dollar at 24,256 VND. At commercial banks, the buying and selling rates for the US Dollar are currently as follows:

In a recent analysis report, ACBS Securities Company predicted that the Federal Reserve's late and much lower interest rate cut compared to the beginning of the year will make the USD/VND exchange rate a persistent issue. Furthermore, this pressure could intensify during the summer as the trade balance shifts towards a deficit in preparation for year-end production, business activities, and exports.
