SJC bought and sold 9999 gold rings of 0.5 taels at 55.65-56.7 million VND/tael, also increasing 150 thousand VND/tael in both buying and selling prices compared to yesterday's closing price.
The price of 9999 round gold rings of Doji Gold and Gemstone Group in Hanoi this afternoon was traded at 55.4-56.45 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 350 thousand VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to the closing price yesterday.
Similarly, the price of gold rings of Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ) also increased today. The price of gold rings listed by PNJ in Ho Chi Minh City today is at 55.7-56.9 million VND/tael, an increase of 100 thousand VND/tael in buying price and an increase of 200 thousand VND/tael in selling price compared to the closing price yesterday.
The difference between the buying and selling price of domestic gold rings fluctuates between 950 thousand VND/tael to 1.2 million VND/tael.
Along with the trend, domestic gold bar prices today recorded an upward trend.
At the end of the session, SJC gold bar price increased by 50 thousand VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to the end of yesterday's session.
Meanwhile, the price of Doji gold bars in Hanoi remained unchanged; the price of Doji gold bars in Ho Chi Minh City increased by 50 thousand VND/tael in both buying and selling prices compared to yesterday's closing price, regaining the mark of 67 million VND/tael (selling).

At 4:09 p.m. today (June 2, Vietnam time), the world spot gold price was at 1,978.8 USD/ounce, up 28.8 USD compared to the lowest price last night of 1,950 USD/ounce.
The sharp increase in world gold prices has narrowed the gap with domestic gold bar prices. Currently, the world gold price converted at the current exchange rate at Vietcombank is over VND56.4 million/tael (excluding taxes and fees), VND10.67 million/tael lower than the price of SJC gold bars.
