Opening the first session of the week (April 21), two domestic gold brands increased sharply by 3 million VND following the increase in world gold prices , the central exchange rate also increased by 9 VND.

At 9:00 a.m., SJC gold price at Saigon Jewelry Company, Phu Quy Company and Doji was listed at 115-117 million VND/tael, an increase of 3 million VND/tael.

At the same time, the price of gold rings at Phu Quy Company increased by 2 million VND/tael, currently trading at 112-115.5 million VND/tael.

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company announced the price of plain round gold rings from 113-117 million VND/tael (buy/sell), an increase of 3 million VND/tael compared to the previous closing price.

The price of SJC 999.9 gold rings also increased by 1.5 million VND per tael, currently trading around 112-115 million VND/tael.

Due to the high price of gold, businesses have left a difference of 3-3.5 million VND per tael, which puts the risk on the customer.

In the world, the price of gold fluctuated around 3,373 USD/ounce, a sharp increase of 46 USD compared to the previous closing price. This price is equivalent to 106.18 million VND/tael when converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank, 9-11 million VND/tael lower than the domestic price depending on the business.

This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate on April 21 at 24,907 VND/USD, up 9 VND compared to the previous session. With a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank bought at 25,740 VND/USD and sold at 26,130 VND/USD, up 10 VND.

Meanwhile, BIDV and VietinBank announced from 25,740-26,100 VND, down 20 VND.

However, Eximbank traded from 25,740-26,120 VND/USD, remaining stable compared to the previous session./.
