Solving problems of power source and grid projects and works

At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade reported on the difficulties and inaccuracies in information of projects, power source works, and power grids in the Provincial Planning for related Plannings approved by authorized authorities. The units discussed and proposed solutions and resolutions for projects including Chieng Hac 2 Hydropower Project; Nam Pan 6 Hydropower Project; Nam Ty Hydropower Project regarding some recommendations on inaccuracies, capacity, connection plans, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Thanh Cong requested the Department of Industry and Trade to coordinate with relevant departments, branches and units to review the progress of investment in construction of power source and grid projects in the planning and power development plan in the province; review and evaluate the implementation of the power grid development plan in the Son La Provincial Planning for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, the demand for electricity use, and promptly adjust and supplement the Son La Provincial Planning Implementation Plan to ensure that it is suitable to actual conditions, meeting the electricity infrastructure for the province's socio -economic development. The Department of Natural Resources and Environment shall preside over and coordinate with departments, branches and localities to review provincial and district-level land use planning to arrange land funds, organize space to implement projects according to the VIII Power Planning and the power grid development plan in the Son La Provincial Planning for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050./.
