Director of the Department of Internal Affairs of Dong Thap Province appointed as Secretary of Sa Dec Ward

On the afternoon of May 14th, the Standing Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee announced a decision on personnel matters, appointing Mr. Nguyen Van Vu Minh, Director of the Department of Internal Affairs, as the Secretary of Sa Dec Ward.

According to a decision by the Standing Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Vu Minh - Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Internal Affairs of Dong Thap province - has been transferred and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Sa Dec ward, for the term 2025 - 2030.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Phan Van Thang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province - expressed his hope that, in his capacity as Secretary of the Sa Dec Ward Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Vu Minh would continue to utilize his abilities, experience, and sense of responsibility, and together with the Ward Party Committee, lead the successful implementation of political tasks and socio-economic development in the locality.

"The new Secretary of the Sa Dec Ward Party Committee quickly adapted to the work, fulfilling his role as the leader, maintaining unity and cohesion within the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the Ward Party Committee. He focused on leading the effective implementation of the two-tiered local government model, innovating the Party's leadership methods in line with the requirements of modern urban development."

"In its long-term development plan, Sa Dec ward needs to effectively exploit the Sa Dec Flower Village brand, promote planning, attract investment in large-scale commodity production, develop trade, services and distinctive tourism, and gradually become a dynamic growth engine of the province," Mr. Thang said.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Nguyen Van Vu Minh expressed his appreciation for the expectations of the Standing Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee. He affirmed that he would strive to promote the spirit of unity, responsibility, and determination, together with the Party Committee of Sa Dec ward, to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Before becoming Secretary of Sa Dec Ward, Mr. Nguyen Van Vu Minh held many positions such as: Secretary of the Dong Thap Provincial Youth Union, Secretary of the Thap Muoi District Party Committee (formerly), Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dong Thap Province (formerly), and Director of the Department of Internal Affairs of Dong Thap Province.
