On December 18, the People's Daily published an article titled "Consolidating the social foundation of the China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future" emphasizing that the two sides need to strengthen cooperation and people-to-people exchanges to consolidate and further promote the long-standing traditional friendship between the two countries.
The article reviews the history of China-Vietnam friendship. These exchanges and cooperation results have contributed to strengthening the social foundation connection between the people of the two countries. Close exchanges between the people of the two countries have become a major stream in the friendship between China and Vietnam.
The article also pointed out three expectations for the youth of the two countries that General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping mentioned in his speech at the meeting of friendship figures and young generations of Vietnam and China.
