Introducing the culture of Bac Ninh at the Vietnam Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village.

To celebrate Vietnam's National Day on September 2nd, the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village is organizing an exhibition titled "Bac Ninh's Cultural and Tourism Space in the Heart of Hanoi" from August 31st to September 2nd.

This exhibition was organized by the Village Management Board and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh province.

The exhibition area comprises 30 stylized booths showcasing the architecture and imagery of the Bắc Ninh-Kinh Bắc countryside, arranged into five sub-areas: a section introducing cultural heritage and performing Bắc Ninh Quan Họ folk songs; a section demonstrating traditional crafts and displaying traditional village products; a section promoting, facilitating, and connecting tours, routes, and tourist destinations; a section showcasing Đồng Ngư water puppetry, Hữu Chấp tug-of-war, and displaying images and artifacts from the Đồng Kỵ firecracker procession festival; and a section introducing local specialties, agricultural products, and traditional cuisine .

During the exhibition, many outstanding and vibrant activities took place, such as: hands-on experiences in traditional crafts like Dong Ho folk painting, Xuan Lai rattan weaving, Phu Lang pottery, and Dai Bai bronze casting; introductions to tourism stimulus programs, promotions, and discounts on tours and tourism services from travel companies and hotels; and demonstrations of famous Bac Ninh culinary products such as Lang Cho rice cakes, Bui Xa spring rolls, Dinh Bang sticky rice cakes, Dap Cau burnt liver pho, and crab rice cakes.

In particular, within the framework of the program's activities, visitors can also enjoy diverse and rich forms of traditional folk art such as: performances of Quan Ho folk songs, performances of rituals and games like bamboo tug-of-war in Huu Chap village, Dong Ngu water puppetry, etc., performed by artists and artisans from clubs in the province.

According to the Management Board of the Vietnam Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village, this is an effective activity to stimulate domestic tourism, creating opportunities for businesses to boost tourism, promote the image and tourism products. It is also an opportunity for Bac Ninh province to introduce its land, people, cultural identity, products, and tourism potential to a large number of domestic and international tourists, attracting tourism investors to Bac Ninh.
