According to Decision No. 139/QD-LĐLĐ, the Go Dau District Labor Federation officially transferred 51 grassroots unions and trade unions, with a total of 5,622 union members/5,872 workers, to the Provincial Labor Federation's management from June 25, 2025. The transfer was carried out to streamline the organization and improve the effectiveness of trade union activities according to the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation.
In addition, according to Decision No. 138/QD-LĐLĐ, the Go Dau District Labor Federation will dissolve the organization and terminate the activities of the Executive Committee and Inspection Committee at 76 grassroots unions, affiliated with Party and State agencies and administrative units receiving 100% of their salaries from the State budget. The decision takes effect from June 15, 2025, and at the same time terminates the union membership status of all union members currently active in these unions.
This is a specific implementation step of Project No. 06/DA-LĐLĐ of the Standing Committee of the Tay Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor on restructuring the local Trade Union organization, including the termination of activities of district-level Trade Unions, Trade Unions of economic zones, and trade unions of public administrative and career agencies.
The restructuring of the trade union organization is expected to contribute to improving the unity, efficiency of management and organization of trade union activities, aiming to better serve the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
