Go Dau: Dissolving and transferring grassroots trade unions and professional associations to the Provincial Federation of Labor.

On June 13th, the Standing Committee of the Go Dau District Labor Union held a ceremony to announce the decision regarding the reorganization of the Labor Union in accordance with Conclusion No. 157-KL/TW of the Politburo.

Mr. Le Van Khoi, Chairman of the District Labor Union, presented the decision to transfer the affiliated grassroots labor unions and trade unions to the Provincial Labor Union.

According to Decision No. 139/QD-LDLD, the Go Dau District Labor Union officially transferred 51 grassroots trade unions and professional unions, with a total of 5,622 members out of 5,872 workers, to the direct management of the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Union from June 25, 2025. This transfer aims to streamline the organization and improve the efficiency of trade union activities, in line with the directives from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Union.

In addition, according to Decision No. 138/QD-LDLD, the Go Dau District Labor Union will dissolve the organization and terminate the activities of the Executive Committee and Inspection Committee at 76 grassroots trade unions under Party and State agencies and administrative and public service units receiving 100% of their salaries from the State budget. The decision takes effect from June 15, 2025, and simultaneously terminates the trade union membership of all members currently active in these trade unions.

Mr. Le Van Khoi, Chairman of the District Labor Union, presented the dissolution decisions to the affiliated labor unions.

This is a concrete implementation step of Project No. 06/DA-LDLD of the Standing Committee of the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Union on the reorganization of local trade union organizations, which includes the termination of activities of district-level labor unions, trade unions in economic zones, and trade unions in public administrative and non-business agencies.

The restructuring of trade union organizations is expected to contribute to improving the unity, efficiency of management and organization of trade union activities, aiming to better serve the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
