TPO - The final round of the Emerald Cup - Final Leg of 2025 witnessed a dramatic chase for points, with at least five golfers directly competing for the championship title. Among them, Park Jung Min made the most significant impact with an explosive performance to claim his second title on the VGA Development Tour.

Entering the final day with a total score of (+1) and trailing Joel Troy by 3 strokes, Park Jung Min quickly found his rhythm and displayed consistent form. In the first 9 holes, he birdied holes 4 and 6, bringing his total score to (-1) and moving up to a tie for the lead with Joel Troy, who made 2 bogeys interspersed with 1 birdie in the first half of the round.

In the final nine holes, a precise birdie putt on the par-4 10th hole gave Park Jung Min the lead. His confidence continued as he added another birdie on the 12th hole, bringing his total score to (-3).

At this point, Truong Chi Quan also staged a strong comeback with 6 birdies and 2 bogeys over 15 holes to close the gap with Park Jung Min, while Tran Le Duy Nhat had crucial birdies to get back into the race. However, 3 consecutive bogeys in the final holes caused Chi Quan to lose his chance to compete directly, while Duy Nhat failed to create enough pressure.

Taking advantage of that, Park Jung Min played confidently on the remaining holes and cruised to the finish line. Despite a bogey on the final hole, the South Korean golfer still completed the round with a 69 to claim the championship with a total score of (-2), creating a 2-stroke lead over the chasing pack.

This is Park Jung Min's second title on the VGA Development Tour this year, following his victory at the TKG Jeongsan Challenge 1st Leg (the predecessor of the Emerald Cup). This championship also earned him a prize of 130 million won.

With the same round of 71 strokes in the final, Tran Le Duy Nhat and Truong Chi Quan finished in a tie for second place with an even par total score. Joel Troy, who led after the first 18 holes, failed to capitalize on his advantage and finished in fourth place with a score of (+2), while Nguyen Huu Quyet ranked fifth with a score of (+3). The Best Amateur title went to Anna Le with a total score of (+5), placing her in a tie for seventh overall.
