Grab speeds up service coverage in 9 more localities

(Chinhphu.vn) - Grab has expanded its coverage to nine new northern provinces and regions, helping local people have easier access to digital services and utilities, promoting the comprehensive development of provinces and cities.

Residents and tourists in 9 new provinces and regions can now order food through GrabFood

Grab Vietnam has just announced service coverage in 9 new provinces, cities and areas in the North, including Lao Cai (Lao Cai area), Bac Ninh (Tu Son area, Bac Giang), Phu Tho (Vinh Yen area, Viet Tri), Ninh Binh (Ninh Binh area, Nam Dinh), Hung Yen (Hung Yen area, Thai Binh ).

This expansion of the scope of operations will contribute to bringing safe, convenient and reliable digital services closer to local people, especially those in the Northern midlands and mountainous areas. This is also Grab's next step in enhancing economic capacity for many people, actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality and accelerating the digital transformation process of the whole country.

In the immediate future, the two services covered by Grab will be GrabBike - a safe, economical and reliable motorbike transportation solution; and GrabFood - a food ordering service with a variety of delicious dishes, helping people enjoy complete meals with family and friends. People can also become Grab partners to increase their income opportunities and optimize operational efficiency.

Grab services will also meet the needs of domestic and foreign tourists using digital services when visiting these destinations with great tourism potential. Tourists can book GrabBike to travel between famous places, while conveniently enjoying local cuisine and specialties via GrabFood, thereby making their journey to explore local culture more convenient.

Most importantly, Grab's digital service coverage will help popularize digital knowledge and improve digital skills for local people.

GrabBike driver-partners can access free online courses and training programs on GrabAcademy, map navigation feature, Microsoft training program.

GrabFood restaurant partners can apply marketing management tools, revenue control, and operation optimization that Grab is providing for free, especially taking advantage of artificial intelligence (AI) to increase business efficiency.

To mark the expansion, from now until December 31, 2025, Grab will launch a series of special offers for new users in new locations. First-time users of GrabBike service will receive a flat rate of VND6,000 for rides with fares under VND25,000. Meanwhile, users who enter the code SIEURE will receive a VND25,000 discount on their first GrabFood order.

In addition, during the same period, GrabFood also offers a delivery fee promotion from only 6,000 VND when choosing Economy delivery within a radius of less than 3km, helping users easily enjoy their favorite meals at a more economical cost.
