This weekend (May 30-31, 2026), Hanoi will hold the entrance exam for 10th grade in public schools. With the largest number of candidates ever, the city has mobilized nearly 20,000 people to serve the exam.

Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for Gifted Students is a testing center for the Hanoi public high school entrance exam. It has 43 examination rooms for over 1,000 candidates. The school has also prepared 3 reserve examination rooms. Both the official and reserve rooms are meticulously designed to ensure adequate lighting, fans, and even air conditioning. The number of desks and chairs ensures that candidates are seated at the required distance from each other.

According to Mr. Ha Vu Anh, Deputy Principal of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for Gifted Students, to ensure electricity and water supply, the school has prepared a high-capacity generator that can be used immediately in case of a power outage.
