Throughout the streets of Hanoi, propaganda banners and colorful flags are displayed to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and to welcome the Year of the Dragon 2024.
With only a few days left until the Lunar New Year, people in Hanoi and across the country will celebrate the holiday. Many streets in the capital have been decorated with archways and banners... welcoming the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024) and the Year of the Dragon 2024.
The red flag with a yellow star flies proudly over the historic Ba Dinh Square. Hundreds of flowers were skillfully arranged by workers from the Hanoi Urban Environment Company to form the number 2024, welcoming the new year, and placed in front of the Lenin Monument (Lenin Park). New Year's greeting banners and posters are displayed in front of the Hanoi People's Committee headquarters. Workers from the Hanoi Urban Environment Company are beautifying the flower garden at the roundabout in front of the Hanoi City Party Committee building. A large billboard welcoming the new year 2024 is placed at the intersection of Trang Tien and Hang Khay streets. Messages celebrating the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam were displayed on a large LED screen at Trang Tien Shopping Center. Banners and flags with slogans like "Celebrating the Party and the Spring Festival," "New Year - New Opportunities - New Victories,"... painted the central streets of Hanoi red.
