Hanoi announces termination of 24 slow-moving projects.

The list of 24 projects whose land has been revoked and operations terminated spans various locations and sectors such as housing, commerce, services, industry, education, tourism, and technical infrastructure.

The Hanoi People's Committee has just announced the revocation of land and termination of operations for 24 slow-developing investment projects using non-budgetary capital and land within the city.

Specifically, according to Notice No. 591/TB-UBND dated May 30, 2026, of the Hanoi People's Committee, the handling of these projects is carried out based on the direction of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee and Plan No. 126/KH-UBND of the Hanoi People's Committee on organizing the implementation of solutions to definitively resolve slow-developing projects and works using non-budgetary capital and land in the city.

These include several projects such as: the Housing Construction Project at Alley 102 Nguyen Khuyen by Hanoi Housing Investment and Development Joint Stock Company No. 6; the Thanh Nien Plaza high-rise building by Detesco Thanh Nien High-rise Building Joint Stock Company; the Phase 2 Industrial Park Project by Bac Luong Son Infrastructure Development Investment Joint Stock Company; the High-rise Office and Residential Complex Project by the Institute of Mining and Metallurgy Industry Science ; and the 5-star hotel by VIPTOUR - TOGI Joint Stock Company…

The People's Committee of the city assigns the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the Department of Finance to take the lead in completing the dossier and advising the People's Committee of the city on the procedures for land reclamation and termination of project activities in accordance with regulations, to be completed by May 31, 2026.
