This is a breakthrough solution to expand the market and increase distribution channels for products of enterprises, cooperatives, business households and individuals in the area through domestic and foreign e-commerce platforms.
According to the plan, before December 15, Hanoi will pilot the design and open of the "Hanoi Capital Product Booth" on Shopee platform. The booth will select OCOP products (One Commune One Product Program) and other strong products of the City. The goal is that by 2025, over 60% of products in each OCOP group (except for fresh and processed agricultural and aquatic products) will be put on the booth.

Notably, 100% of participating establishments must apply digital technology solutions such as digital signatures, electronic contracts and invoices, and product traceability. All will be trained to operate their booths professionally. Products must have valid certification, ensuring quality, food safety, and clear origin. Shopee will support analysis, evaluation, and provide technical solutions to improve business efficiency.
During the 2026-2030 period, the program will expand across cross-border e-commerce platforms, social networks, and connect with the Hanoi Technology Exchange. The further goal is to form a “Capital Region Product Booth” through cooperation with neighboring localities.
The City People's Committee has directed relevant departments and branches to synchronously deploy many solutions to support traders. Before November 30, Hanoi will complete the application of digital signatures, electronic contracts and invoices, as well as traceability for participating establishments. The City encourages Vietnamese digital technology enterprises to provide services with preferential policies, contributing to promoting the digitalization of e-commerce.
In addition, Hanoi pays special attention to training and coaching for traders. Training content includes knowledge of digital economy , e-commerce, business strategy, market analysis, digital marketing, logistics, customer care, Shopee store operation skills, AI applications in sales, account setup and online payment. Training programs will combine direct and online, through videos on Shopee, websites of departments and branches, and direct sessions at training facilities under the Department of Science and Technology or People's Committees of communes and wards.
The plan also outlines communication and promotion work. The program's launch event is expected to be held at Hoan Kiem Lake walking street or Tran Nhan Tong walking street, including a launching ceremony, an exhibition introducing OCOP products, Hanoi's key products, online shopping experiences, introducing digital technology for digital transformation, and promotional programs from Shopee.
At the same time, Hanoi will strengthen control of product quality and origin, fight against counterfeit and fake goods, protect consumer rights, and improve tax management efficiency for online sales. This is also a practical solution to implement the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods".
The Hanoi People's Committee affirmed that the implementation of "Digital booth - raising the level of the capital's traders" not only promotes the development of e-commerce, but also supports comprehensive digital transformation for production and business establishments; at the same time, enhances brand recognition for the capital's products on the digital platform, contributing to realizing the goal of making the digital economy an important growth driver of the City.
