Synopsis of Undercover High School before episodes 11 and 12

Episode 10 of "Youth Mission" begins with the dramatic return of Seo Myeong-ju and Principal Park to school. Myeong-ju reveals she knows clues about the gem and the rising sun, and asks Hae-seong to leave the school. After being expelled by the council chairman, Hae-seong bids farewell to his friends and continues his investigation with his team, even though their office is unexpectedly raided by NIS internal investigators. They discover illegal funds and arrest Seok-ho, further escalating the tension. Myeong-ju calls Hae-seong, mocking him with a "farewell gift" and threatening Soo-a, but Soo-a encourages Hae-seong to continue despite the danger, and gives him the student council notebook containing a photo of his father.

Hae-seong's team is disbanded, but they decide to continue their investigation from his home. They discover a fourth ghost story in the notebook, involving a self-illuminating computer and a message from a deceased teacher, which Hae-seong believes his father added to mislead Myeong-ju. Focusing on the phrase, "When the jewel-bearer faces the red sun, gold will shine," they suspect the Seo Byeong-mun statue at the school holds the key. Hae-seong disguises himself as a delivery man to infiltrate the school, where he and Soo-a discover the statue can rotate, but are interrupted by Vice Principal Baek. Meanwhile, Myeong-ju realizes Hae-seong has infiltrated and orders the delivery of a "second gift," leading to the dissemination of images of Soo-a and Hae-seong, suggesting an inappropriate relationship between teacher and student.

Hae-seong confronts the situation by publicly revealing his true age (31 years old) to the class, admitting his feelings for Soo-a and gaining support from the students, which angers Myeong-ju. With help from Ye-na, he continues his plan to find the gold. Hae-seong's team receives unexpected support from Soo-a's mother, a former member of the Bloody Chicken Gang, to stop Myeong-ju at school. At the end of the episode, Hae-seong rotates the statue, discovering a secret door leading to an abandoned room, where he finds his father's skeleton, but no gold. The episode concludes with many unanswered questions, leaving suspense for the next developments.

After discovering his father's skeleton beneath the statue of Seo Byeong-mun, along with a bullet wound nearby, Hae-seong was overcome with grief. He and Seok-ho requested that the forensic team examine the remains.

The report confirms that his father was shot, and Seok-ho points to Director Kim as the prime suspect, as he had met Hae-seong's father before he disappeared.

Meanwhile, Seo Myeong-ju arrives at school and, angered by the lack of gold, begins to suspect Hae-seong knows something. With Soo-a's support, Hae-seong decides to confront Director Kim directly. He brings a gun, points it at Kim, and demands the truth. Under pressure, Kim admits to shooting Hae-seong's father and taking the gold, but reveals that the gold is still there and he knows its hiding place. Instead of pulling the trigger, Hae-seong secretly plants a listening device in Kim's house to gather evidence while simultaneously planning to find the gold.

Meanwhile, Myeong-ju desperately tries to force Hae-seong to reveal information by recounting how his father used to hunt for gold, but her plan is disrupted when a car accident occurs – possibly related to the chase between her and Hae-seong.

Hae-seong overhears Director Kim's conversation, pinpoints the exact location of the gold, and begins his operation. He and his team, with support from Soo-a's mother's Bloody Chicken Gang, organize a raid to recover the gold and bring those involved to justice. Meanwhile, Myeong-ju, despite being injured in an accident, tries to stop Hae-seong, but she is arrested by authorities upon their arrival at the scene. Hae-seong faces danger of being shot in a confrontation with Kim's forces or the police for disobeying orders, causing Soo-a and his team to rush to the hospital in distress.

Fortunately, he survived and recovered, determined to complete his father's mission. Eventually, the gold was found, and Director Kim and Myeong-ju were punished for their crimes – Kim for murder and corruption, Myeong-ju for her greed that led her down the wrong path with her plan to transform the school into an "Edu City." Hae-seong obtained justice for his father, while Soo-a officially became a teacher, continuing to protect her students. The relationship between Hae-seong and Soo-a has a chance to deepen, possibly culminating in a meal Soo-a promised after everything is over, opening up a bright future for both of them.
