According to the latest V-League transfer news, HAGL has successfully signed striker Jeferson Elias, a top scorer last season with 13 goals for CAHN FC. The 1998-born striker will wear the number 9 jersey for the team from Pleiku.
According to HAGL's initial roster for the 2024/2025 V-League season, the team from Pleiku registered three foreign players: Jairo Rodrigues, Marciel, and Baio Da Cunha Bruno Henrique. However, Bruno Baio experienced health issues and was unable to travel to Vietnam. Therefore, the Pleiku-based team chose Jefferson as his replacement.
Most notably on HAGL's roster is striker Tran Gia Bao. Born in 2008, he has been registered by the coaching staff to play in the V-League 2024/2025. This young player was part of the Vietnam U16 team that recently defeated Japan U16 and Uzbekistan U16 in a friendly tournament in China.
Speaking to VOV.VN, Mr. Vu Tien Thanh - Director of HAGL Football Academy - said that HAGL's goal in the V-League 2024/2025 season is to finish in 6th place in the standings.
