Accordingly, investment projects related to transportation infrastructure include: the construction of Tan An Bridge and connecting road to National Highway 18 in Hai Duong ; the Kinh Mon River overpass; and the access road to the new Cay Bridge in Cam Giang.

The Tan An Bridge, costing 600 billion VND, connects to National Highway 18.

Specifically, the Tan An bridge and access road project connecting to National Highway 18 (Chi Linh City, Hai Duong Province) has an estimated total investment of 600 billion VND. The project aims to connect with the new route connecting the intersection of Provincial Road 390 to National Highway 18, passing through Nam Sach District, in order to gradually complete the inter-regional transportation axis connecting National Highway 5 with National Highway 18 from Hai Duong City via Han Bridge, through Nam Sach District to Chi Linh City.

At the same time, it will reduce the burden on the existing transportation system, especially National Highway 37. The regional transportation system will be gradually completed according to the plan.

The project's funding comes from the Hai Duong provincial budget within the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025. Of the total investment of 600 billion VND, the estimated cost for compensation, support, and resettlement is over 90.1 billion VND, construction costs account for nearly 431.5 billion VND, and other expenses are also covered. The project is scheduled for implementation between 2023 and 2025.

New bridge and approach road construction projects will contribute to changing the face of transportation in Hai Duong province.

The 600 billion VND Kinh Mon River bridge connects to National Highway 5.

Next, the Kinh Mon River overpass and the connecting road between the elevated interchange and National Highway 5 is a Group B project, with the Hai Duong Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board as the investor.

Investing in the construction of the Kinh Mon River overpass and the connecting road between the elevated interchange and National Highway 5 is essential to synchronously connect the two projects and create a transportation axis linking Kinh Mon town with Kim Thanh district, and Hai Duong province with Quang Ninh province and Hai Phong city, contributing to reducing congestion on high-traffic routes.

The People's Committee of Hai Duong province anticipates a total investment of 600 billion VND for the project from the provincial budget within the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025. The project will be implemented in Kinh Mon town and Kim Thanh district (Hai Duong province) during the period 2023-2025.

Nearly 470 billion VND invested in the access road to the new Cay Bridge, completing the inter-regional transportation axis.

Regarding the new Cay Bridge access road project in Cam Giang and the 33-meter extension road (through Cam Giang District) connecting to Vu Cong Dan road (Hai Duong City), the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee has proposed an investment of nearly 469.5 billion VND from the provincial budget in the medium-term investment plan for the period 2021-2025.

According to the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee, investing in the project is necessary to complete the inter-regional transportation axis connecting Vu Cong Dan Street (Hai Duong City) to Ke Sat Town (Binh Giang District), and to connect with the Hanoi -Hai Phong expressway interchange at Provincial Road 392. It will also connect with existing main arterial roads, resolving traffic congestion and safety issues in the Cau Cay area.

Thus, with 3 key transportation projects including the construction of bridges and bridge access roads with a total capital of nearly 1,700 billion VND, Hai Duong province expects that upon completion, the projects will contribute to reducing traffic congestion, creating favorable conditions for the trade of goods and the economic development of Hai Duong province in particular and the Northern Coastal region in general.
