Two planes collided on the runway at Noi Bai Airport.

On June 27th, a collision occurred between two aircraft at Noi Bai International Airport while they were moving on the taxiway.

Accordingly, aircraft VN-A863, operating flight VN7205 from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, collided with the tail of aircraft VN-A338, which was stopped and waiting to operate flight VN1804 from Hanoi to Dien Bien, while taxiing onto the runway in preparation for takeoff.

Immediately after the incident occurred, the relevant authorities at the airport promptly implemented handling measures according to procedures, ensuring the safety of passengers and crew. All passengers on both flights were assisted and transferred to alternative flights to continue their journey.

Authorities are currently coordinating with relevant parties to assess and verify the cause of the incident in accordance with regulations.
