Ham Thanh donated 330 gift packages to disadvantaged ethnic minority people.

On the morning of August 3rd, Ham Thanh commune (Lam Dong province) organized the distribution of 330 gift packages to disadvantaged ethnic minority people in the locality.

My Thanh village, one of the locations where gifts were distributed on the morning of July 3rd.

Ham Thanh commune has a unique location, with the hamlets of Ham Can, My Thanh, and Lo To being far apart. Many households in the area are classified as particularly disadvantaged. In light of this situation, the local authorities mobilized and coordinated with benefactors to donate 330 gift packages, totaling nearly 120 million VND. Each package included rice, instant noodles, clothing, shoes, and other essential items.

Ms. To Thi Xuan Thuy, Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune, along with the leaders of the People's Committee of the commune, presented letters and flowers of gratitude to the benefactors.

Ms. To Thi Ngoc Thuy, Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune, said: "The lives of ethnic minority people in the locality are currently facing many difficulties. The support and assistance from benefactors have somewhat encouraged the people to overcome their circumstances and continue to strive for a better life."

Many households in My Thanh are still trapped in poverty.

In addition, EUKING European Plastic Manufacturing and Trading Company Limited ( Ho Chi Minh City) also donated 30 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND.
