According to Insider Gaming , Project Q is a handheld PlayStation 5 gaming device designed to allow gamers to easily experience games from a distance using the Remote Play feature.

Sony confirmed the existence of Project Q in May after much speculation, with the device expected to reach users later this year. However, recently, a Reddit user with the account 'AyoadeNBN' unexpectedly shared several images of Sony's upcoming mobile gaming device.
Leaked real-life images of Project Q
Subsequently, some leaked images and hands-on videos of Project Q were anonymously sent to Insider Gaming by a Twitter user with the account @Zuby_Tech, providing an initial detailed look at the device.

Project Q, internally codenamed 'Q Lite', features an 8-inch widescreen display and two controller-like units positioned on either side, offering full PlayStation 5 controller functionality such as haptic feedback and triggers. The device is expected to have a battery life of 3-4 hours and be capable of streaming games at 1080p graphics and 60 FPS.
According to sources, Project Q is likely to be released by Sony in November 2023.
