Since 7 p.m. on May 20, hundreds of thousands of Israelis have once again gathered at 150 locations across the country in a protest that has now entered its 20th week to protest the judicial reform plan proposed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government.
In addition to opposing the judicial reform plan, which has been on hold since late March, protesters are also protesting against a plan to allocate about NIS 14 billion (about $3.83 billion) to far-right parties in the coalition government, which is expected to be approved by parliament later this month.
According to protest organizers, about 200,000 people have registered to join the march on Kaplan Street, where the government administration building is located. Meanwhile, in the port city of Haifa, thousands of people also took to the streets shouting slogans against the government.
There is no sign of progress in talks on a judicial reform plan so far, despite President Isaac Herzog's urging.
Israeli people are also determined not to give up their plans to protest until the Government completely abandons this controversial plan./.
