Responding to Youth Month, on the morning of March 23, the Lao student dormitory (District 3, Ho Chi Minh City) organized the 156th "Green Sunday" festival with the participation of students from 3 countries: Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia.

"Green Sunday" is a regular activity carried out by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at all levels. Through the activities of the union members and youth, it will contribute to propagating and mobilizing people to throw garbage in the right place, maintain hygiene, not litter, improve the space and beauty of the living and working areas... gradually forming a civilized lifestyle, more responsible for the environment of each individual in society.

In particular, this festival also had the participation of Mr. Chan Sorykan, Consul General of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Ho Chi Minh City.

According to Mr. Thon Bunheng, President of the Cambodian Student Association, the festival has created an opportunity for students to actively participate in environmental movements, creating conditions for them to be responsible and aware of protecting the environment where they are studying and living.

It is known that the painting activity was proposed by the Consul General of the Kingdom of Cambodia, aiming to carry out a number of wall paintings with typical images of the relationship between the three countries.

Souphaphone Senhane, a student from Laos, said: "We had a very happy and meaningful Sunday. What impressed me most was that students from three countries worked together to complete a painting of a colorful palm tree."

According to Ketchai Taiphop, a Laotian student, despite differences in ethnicity and language, everyone still united in responding to the activity. This event spread a strong message of environmental protection awareness, inspiring the community to join hands to act for a sustainable green future.
