People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association, said she was extremely proud and honored to receive the title of People's Artist. "I will continue to dedicate myself, transforming this great happiness into motivation to carry out teaching projects, contributing to bringing knowledge to the younger generation of actors. Besides working at the Association's Professional Training Center, I am also a visiting lecturer in performance techniques at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Theater and Film. People's Artist My Uyen, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Small Stage Theatre, shared: "When I heard that my name was on the list of recipients this time, I was very happy and moved; I felt honored and proud. In my artistic life, being awarded the title of People's Artist is a great source of happiness and an invaluable reward. This is the motivation for me to continue to dedicate myself and do even better in my role and mission for the national art scene in general and the Ho Chi Minh City theatre scene in particular."

People's Artist My Uyen possesses a considerable record of achievements in the arts, including leading a state-run socialized theater unit considered the "leading example" of this model nationwide. Not only successful in acting, People's Artist My Uyen also excels in management.

For many years, with the responsibility of nurturing a new generation of young actors for the "5B" small theater, she has contributed to bringing optimistic signs to the Ho Chi Minh City theater scene through plays that provide opportunities for young actors to shine. The plays staged at "5B" in recent times have truly touched the hearts of the audience. Specifically, the play "Dấu xưa" (Ancient Traces), praising the image of President Ho Chi Minh, has been performed nearly 100 times.

"I recently had a field trip to Germany, and I learned many valuable lessons about school theater. I will implement this model as soon as possible, with plays for teenagers at the 5B theater," said People's Artist My Uyen with enthusiasm.

Before taking on management roles, People's Artist Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy was a singer with the Military Region 7 Art Troupe. Currently, she holds the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City. She is a role model who always strives to learn and improve herself, with the motto of focusing on work efficiency and always considering the stage as a sacred place and the audience as the heart of Ho Chi Minh City's cultural and artistic activities.
