Speed up on transportation projects.

At the M'Rê - Niêng village road upgrade and expansion project (phase 1) in Hoa Phu commune, it was noted that in the section through Buôr village, the contractor mobilized dump trucks, specialized asphalt paving machines, rollers, and about 20 workers to lay and compact the asphalt concrete layer according to technical standards.

Mr. Le Van Bang, Deputy Director of Hoang Nam Bridge and Road Construction Co., Ltd., the contractor for the road project, said: "Taking advantage of favorable weather conditions, we are directing the construction teams to closely monitor the site to ensure the set progress. Besides the time factor, the quality of the project is always prioritized. To ensure the project is completed on schedule, the contractor hopes that the investor and relevant units will soon complete the handover of the remaining land area, creating conditions for synchronized construction along the entire route."

Asphalt paving for the road construction project connecting M'Rê village and Niêng village.

The project received investment approval from the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City in September 2023. With a total length of nearly 6 km, the road is designed with a roadbed width of 14 m (including a 12 m wide road surface and 1 m wide sidewalks on each side). This is a key transportation artery connecting Hoa Phu commune with neighboring areas. Upon completion, this road will directly connect to the Ho Chi Minh Highway bypass section east of Buon Ma Thuot, forming a complete ring road system. This will not only alleviate traffic congestion in the provincial center but also open up new development opportunities.

Along with the project in Hoa Phu commune, the Nguyen Kim road project (Buon Ma Thuot ward) is also resuming implementation after a temporary suspension due to land acquisition issues. The project has a total investment of over 34 billion VND, with the Buon Ma Thuot Investment and Construction Project Management Board as the investor. According to observations at the construction site, the contractor has completed the foundation, road surface, drainage system, and sidewalks in the section from Km0+244.87 to Km0+360.87. For the section from Km0+00 to Km0+244.87, the construction unit has completed the roadbed, installed the drainage system, and is currently laying the crushed stone base layer. Machinery and equipment are continuously deployed on the construction site to take advantage of favorable weather conditions to compensate for the previous interruption.

In reality, land clearance remains the biggest bottleneck affecting the project's progress. In some cases, residents have not agreed on compensation plans, there are obstacles related to land procedures, or delays in resettlement have caused significant difficulties in implementation. A representative from the investor stated that restarting the project is crucial for completing the urban transportation system and reducing pressure on existing inner-city roads.
