Last night, June 12th, the group stage matches of the 2024 National Youth Indoor Volleyball Championship concluded, highly praised for their professional quality; the athletes competed with confidence, skill, and high determination, delivering many exciting and dramatic matches... The 16 best men's and women's teams from the group stage have been determined to compete in the quarterfinals.

The 2024 National Youth Indoor Volleyball Championship officially kicked off on June 2nd at the Quang Tri Provincial Multi-Purpose Gymnasium, bringing together over 400 officials, coaches, and athletes from 25 teams, including 13 men's and 12 women's volleyball teams from provinces, cities, and sectors nationwide.
Notably, this year's tournament features promising athletes currently competing on the national U20 team, such as: Dang Thi Hong (Thai Nguyen), Pham Quynh Huong, Ngo Bich Hue (Information Corps), Le Thuy Linh, Bui Thi Anh Thao ( Hanoi ), Huu Trinh, Xuan Sinh (The Cong), Xuan Hop, Ngoc Hieu, Dinh Quy (Khanh Hoa)...
This demonstrates the investment and focus on youth training by units nationwide. After about 5 years, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation is now focusing on the national youth men's and women's volleyball teams again for international competitions; each team will compete in July. Therefore, the 2024 National Youth Volleyball Championship is one of the tests for coaching staff to assess the athletes' skill level and discover new talents.

According to the organizers, the 66 matches in the group stage were exciting and engaging. Team leaders and coaches had made thorough preparations in all aspects to ensure their athletes were in the best possible frame of mind for the matches.
For young athletes, this tournament is the best opportunity to compete, gain experience, and exchange expertise; to demonstrate their character, confidence, and high determination in competition, bring high achievements to the team, and have the chance to be selected for the national youth team to participate in international youth tournaments.
Since then, the young athletes have competed wholeheartedly in a spirit of solidarity, honesty, and dedication, creating exciting and dramatic matches that have brought a wide range of emotions to the viewers.
In particular, both the men's team The Cong and the women's team Long An, champions in the men's and women's volleyball categories in the 2023 season, are performing impressively this season with the determination to successfully defend their titles. The referees officiated the tournament fairly, objectively, accurately, and according to the rules, creating the best conditions for the athletes to compete.
For Quang Tri province, despite facing many difficulties, especially in terms of infrastructure, they still made efforts to successfully carry out the task of serving the tournament as planned; ensuring the safety of team leaders, coaches, and athletes in terms of accommodation and competition; the police and medical forces performed their assigned duties well; and creating favorable conditions for people to come and watch and cheer...
The quarter-finals took place on June 13th, with the following matches determined: Khanh Hoa vs. Tra Vinh; Da Nang vs. Border Guard; The Cong Tan Cang vs. Ninh Binh; and Hanoi vs. Ho Chi Minh City in the men's volleyball category.
In the women's volleyball competition: Vietinbank vs. Ninh Binh; Kinh Bac Bac Ninh vs. Duc Giang Chemical Lao Cai; Signal Corps vs. Thai Nguyen; Long An vs. Long Son Cement Thanh Hoa.
The quarter-final matches promise to be exciting, intense, and dramatic; the young athletes will compete with the highest determination for their country's colors and deliver top-class matches and captivating plays of national caliber, entertaining the large audience of people and tourists who come to watch and cheer.
