Awarding the "Da Huoai Cashew" Trademark Certificate to Da Huoai District

Mr. Nguyen Cao Tri said that since 2024, Da Huoai district has started to build a certification label for cashew products. Accordingly, Da Huoai cashew products have been granted a Trademark Registration Certificate by the Department of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Science and Technology, valid for 10 years, from March 2025 to March 2035. Currently, Da Huoai is completing procedures to grant the Right to Use the Certification Mark "Da Huoai Cashew" to individuals and organizations that meet the prescribed standards. The first two units are Le Gia Agricultural Products Export Processing and Trading Cooperative and Luu Thi Kim Huong Business Household.

Currently, Da Huoai has a total cashew area of ​​6,136.75 hectares, mainly the area being harvested. Because cashew is identified as the main crop, bringing income to farmers in Da Huoai district, in recent years, the district's functional sectors have focused on promoting support for farmers to apply scientific and technical advances, building models of intensive application, high technology in planting, caring for cashew trees adapting to climate change conditions, associated with safe and sustainable production. Thanks to the application of scientific and technical advances, cashew trees have high productivity and quality, and there are many factories and households processing cashew nuts.

However, although many solutions have been implemented to promote trade and advertise locally, they have not yet brought about the desired results; consumers nationwide still do not know much about Da Huoai district's cashew products, and cashew products are at risk of losing their brand, losing consumer trust, and negatively affecting the brand.

Therefore, Da Huoai is determined to build a certification label with the goal of building a brand, protecting and developing reputation and brand, improving product quality, and increasing competitiveness for Da Huoai cashew nuts in the market.
