Petrolimex Board of Directors announced the Decision on personnel work at Vinh Long Construction Company

On June 30, 2025, at the Office of Vinh Long Petroleum Company (Petrolimex Vinh Long/Company), the Ceremony to Announce the Decision on the Company's Personnel Work took place. This is one of the activities in the process of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus according to the Project to restructure the Vietnam Petroleum Group (Petrolimex/Group) for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2035, closely following the guidelines and orientations of Resolution 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the Party Central Committee.

Mr. Pham Van Thanh - Member of the Government Party Executive Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam National Petroleum Group presented the Decision on personnel transfer to Mr. Vo Thai Son.

Member of the Government Party Executive Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors (BOD) of the Group Pham Van Thanh attended and chaired the announcement ceremony. Also attending the program were: Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Deputy General Director of the Group; Mr. Dang Quang Tuan - Head of the Supervisory Board, Mr. Tran Van Giang - Head of the Human Resources, Salary and Bonus Board of the Group; Mr. Tran Sy Giang - Head of the General Department, Board of Directors of the Group and leaders of Vinh Long, Ben Tre and Tra Vinh Petroleum Companies.

At the ceremony, Mr. Pham Van Thanh - Member of the Government Party Executive Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group presented the Decision to transfer Mr. Vo Thai Son - Chairman of Tay Nam Bo Petroleum Company Limited to hold the position of Chairman of Vinh Long Petroleum Company, for a period of 5 years from July 1, 2025.

Mr. Tran Van Giang - Head of Human Resources, Salary and Bonus Department of the Board of Directors of the Group approved the Decision to transfer Mr. Vo Thai Son to the position of Chairman of Vinh Long Petroleum Company from July 1, 2025.

Member of the Government Party Executive Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group Pham Van Thanh praised Mr. Vo Thai Son's contributions during many years of working at the Southwest Petroleum Company and expressed his confidence that with his proven experience and capacity, the new Chairman of Vinh Long Petroleum Company will, together with the Company's staff, promote the spirit of solidarity and creativity, maintain the pioneering role of the unit, and successfully complete the work programs, tasks, and plans assigned by the Group.

Speaking on accepting the assignment, Mr. Vo Thai Son sincerely thanked the Group's leaders for their trust and confidence and pledged to continue to make more efforts, together with the leaders, key staff, employees of Vinh Long Petroleum Company, to focus on doing a good job of leading the unit to best fulfill new responsibilities and tasks.

At the end of the ceremony to announce the decisions on personnel work in 2025, the delegation of leaders of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group continued the working session with the leaders of Vinh Long, Ben Tre and Tra Vinh Petroleum Companies on the orientation of rearranging the Petroleum Companies under the Group. At the working session, the delegates listened to the orientation of rearranging the Petroleum Companies under the Group and exchanged and discussed the difficulties in the work of merging, rearranging the Company and personnel in the coming time.
