Previous reports have revealed that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will use a 6.8-inch Quad-HD+ display. However, earlier leaks were uncertain whether Samsung would upgrade the screen brightness.
Now, after reviewing some recently leaked files, Android Authority has discovered that the South Korean tech company may be able to upgrade the screen brightness of its next flagship line to a maximum of 3,000 nits.
Additionally, the source indicates that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will be Samsung's first high-end phone to support seamless Android updates. It will feature an A/B partitioning system, meaning software updates can be installed in the background.
The Galaxy A55 was Samsung's first phone to feature Seamless Updates, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra will also have this feature when it launches next month. However, it's somewhat disappointing that this new flagship doesn't support Google's Find My Device tracking feature when turned off. The report also claims that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery and use UFS 4.0 internal storage.
Samsung is expected to hold its Galaxy Unpacked event and introduce the Galaxy S25 models on January 22, 2025, in San Jose, California. The event will take place at 10:00 AM Pacific Time, which is equivalent to 1:00 AM on January 23rd in Vietnam.
