In 2020, with the trust of the women in the hamlet, Ms. Tran Thi Thuy was elected Head of the Women's Association of Tan Tao Hamlet. She has always been a pioneer and role model in carrying out her duties, worthy of the trust of the members. Not only is she active in association work, but Ms. Thuy is also a role model in building a happy family and excelling in production . Managing household chores, caring for her children, and enthusiastically participating in social activities, she has spread the image of a capable and responsible woman, creating a solid foundation for her work.

Actively encourage women to participate in building new rural areas.

One of Ms. Tran Thi Thuy's most outstanding achievements is organizing and mobilizing women to actively participate in environmental protection activities and tree planting in the hamlet.

To achieve positive results, Ms. Thuy constantly innovates her methods, integrating environmental awareness campaigns into community meetings and directly visiting each household to encourage women to participate in environmental protection. She focuses on effectively implementing movements such as the "5 No's, 3 Cleanliness" campaign, planting flowers along roadsides, maintaining environmental hygiene, and sorting waste at source. The women's change and maintenance of waste sorting habits are thanks to Ms. Thuy's persistence, thorough explanations, and exemplary conduct. They are also guided on how to utilize organic waste as fertilizer, minimizing the amount of waste released into the environment.

Accordingly, the women of Tan Tao hamlet, together with the Party committee and the local government, joined hands to build a new rural area, creating a model road that is bright, green, clean, and beautiful, which anyone who visits will admire.

Ms. Thuy shared: " Mobilization work is very difficult without perseverance. From having only a few members, thanks to our clear explanation of the benefits of joining the association, such as access to legal knowledge, technical support for production, revolving loans, etc., the women's movement gradually became well-organized and attracted a large number of women to participate. "

Besides environmental protection efforts, she actively encourages women to increase production and develop family economies by sharing experiences, connecting them with effective models, introducing loan sources, and creating opportunities for them to participate in technical training courses. As a result, many women have risen out of poverty, stabilized their lives, and contributed to affirming the role of women in building new rural areas in Tan Tao hamlet.

The example of learning from Uncle Ho.

Alongside her environmental and production activities, Ms. Thuy always prioritizes the work of disseminating information and mobilizing women to abide by the law. She regularly organizes thematic sessions, inviting legal officials to impart knowledge on the Marriage and Family Law, the Environmental Protection Law, traffic laws, prevention of domestic violence, and the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws. This helps women improve their understanding, live and work in accordance with the constitution and laws, and contribute to maintaining security and order in the area.

In particular, Ms. Thuy is a shining example in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style, applying them flexibly in her work and daily life, from saving and combating waste to demonstrating a sense of responsibility in her work, being approachable, listening to, and accepting the opinions of her colleagues to progress and develop together.

Thanks to Ms. Thuy's enthusiasm, many green hedges have been built, giving Tan Tao hamlet a fresh new look.

Ms. Thuy shared: “To effectively mobilize people, we must first set an example and lead the way in various movements. For example, in economic development, my family actively grows vegetables, fruit trees, and raises shrimp and crabs, earning over 150 million VND per year; if we do things effectively, then our mobilization efforts will be more persuasive. In association work, we must be responsible and promote solidarity to build a strong association base.”

Thanks to her efforts, Ms. Thuy was honored by Ngoc Hien district (formerly) as an exemplary woman in studying President Ho Chi Minh's teachings in 2021 and 2023. She has proudly received many certificates of merit and commendations from various levels, a testament to her tireless contributions to the women's movement and the development of her homeland.
