Coach Kiatisak took on the task of leading CAHN from January 16.1. Since then, "Zico Thai" and the reigning V-League champion have experienced a real battle, playing a friendly match with PVF-CAND club (playing in the national first division). The former HAGL coach had a pretty smooth debut, when CAHN Club won 3-2 against PVF-CAND.
Why did the Hanoi Police Club choose Coach Kiatisuk and not Mr. Polking?
Before entering the Lunar New Year holiday, the police football team will have the opportunity to test fire with a strong opponent, Nam Dinh Club. The Nam team is currently leading the V-League 2023 - 2024 rankings after 8 rounds. It is expected that this match will take place on the afternoon of February 6.2. Kiatisak's former students Hong Duy and Van Toan are expected to play for the Nam Dinh team.
This is a friendly match in the training plan of Nam Dinh Club in Ninh Binh, lasting from January 29.1 to February 8.2. Coach Vu Hong Viet's team trains away from home to help the turf of the practice field and Thien Truong stadium have time to be cared for and restored, in order to best prepare for the V-League when it returns. Besides the friendly match with CAHN Club, Nam Dinh Club also competed with Viettel Sports Club during this training trip.
Regarding CAHN Club, coach Kiatisak once shared: "I came to CAHN Club with the hope of success on the coaching bench. With a team of quality players like Quang Hai, Van Thanh, Tan Tai,... I set a goal with CAHN Club to achieve high rankings this season. I want to bring glory to this team."
“Zico Thai” also revealed the playing style he will apply to the reigning V-League champion in the near future: “For me, the players need to fight themselves first. No need to care about other teams, players must be determined and strive for themselves. My football philosophy is strong defense, quick counter-attack, playing beautiful football, civilized football."
Coach Kiatisak is expected to help CAHN Club regain its position. The defending champion is currently only ranked 5th on the rankings with 12 points (3 wins, 3 draws, 2 losses).
