After 3 years leading HAGL Club, Coach Kiatisuk has officially ended his "reign" at the mountain town team. On the training ground of HAGL Club yesterday afternoon (January 10), the Thai coach expressed to the members of the team: "This is my last training session with you, it is an honor for me to be able to do this." working with all of you".
Coach Kiatisuk will leave HAGL for Hanoi, accept duties and start a new adventure as head coach of the CAHN team.
As for LPBank HAGL Club, on his personal page, CEO of the club Nguyen Tan Anh shared: "Wishing Mr. Zico (coach Kiatisuk's nickname) hard and soft legs, success in the upcoming journey. with the CAHN team".
For Kiatisuk, HAGL brings this coach too many memories. Mr. Kiatisuk worked for Duc's football team in 3 periods. The first period was from 2002 to 2006, when "Zico Thai" was still a player.
At that time, Kiatisuk contributed greatly to helping HAGL move from the First Division to the V-League, then won the V-League championship in 2003 and 2004. In 2006, Kiatisuk became a coach and player of HAGL.
In the second period in 2010, Kiatisuk became the coach of HAGL Club, but only for a short time.
The third phase is from the beginning of 3 until now, Kiatisuk returned to HAGL as head coach. He helped the mountain town team lead the V-League 2021, but HAGL was not recognized as champion at that time because the tournament was stopped midway because of the Covid-2021 epidemic.
In addition to his professional value, Coach Kiatisuk also helps HAGL a lot commercially. At least two very large sponsors from Thailand signed a sponsorship contract for HAGL because this team has Kiatisuk, the top idol of football in the Golden Temple country.
Coming to the new team CAHN, the expectations for coach Kiatisuk are still very high. The reigning V-League champions hope the Thai coach will help them transform, play more stably than under coach Gong Oh Kyun, and return to the championship track.
