France: Former Barcelona and Spain national team coach Luis Enrique will replace Christophe Galtier as PSG's manager from the 2023-2024 season.
Enrique is set to sign a two-year contract with PSG, after spending two days in Paris negotiating on June 28th and 29th. According to Goal , the Ligue 1 champions will announce Enrique as their new coach today, June 30th, after terminating Galtier's contract. PSG contacted Enrique about two weeks prior. The club's management felt confident in the former Barcelona and Spain national team coach's project to develop the club.
Enrique previously managed Barca B, Roma, Celta Vigo, and Barca. With Barca, from 2014 to 2017, he won two La Liga titles, three Copa del Rey titles, one Spanish Super Cup, one Champions League, one UEFA Super Cup, one FIFA Club World Cup, and a treble. In the 2016-2017 season, in the Champions League Round of 16, Enrique's team thrashed PSG 6-1 in the second leg, after losing 0-4 in the first leg.

Enrique managed the Spanish national team from July 2018 until the end of the 2022 World Cup. He led the team to the semi-finals of Euro 2021, a second-place finish in the 2020-2021 Nations League, and the round of 16 at the 2022 World Cup.
Galtier signed a two-year contract with PSG in the summer of 2022. The French coach helped the club win Ligue 1 and the French Super Cup, but ultimately lost 0-3 to Bayern in the Champions League round of 16. Prior to that, Galtier had won a French League Cup with St Etienne and a Ligue 1 title with Lille.
This summer, PSG reached agreements to sign midfielders Manuel Ugarte, Lee Kang In, Cher Ndourm, striker Marco Asensio, defender Lucas Hernandez and Milan Skriniar. Meanwhile, they released Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos.
In mid-June, striker Kylian Mbappe sent a letter to the PSG management informing them that he would not be renewing his contract from June 2024 to June 2025 as planned. If they don't sell him this summer, PSG could lose Mbappe for free next year. The management is trying to persuade the French striker to change his mind, while also planning to sell him to recoup the transfer fee.
