On the afternoon of April 9th, the Korea Football Association (KFA) announced the composition of its 55th Executive Committee, with a series of notable changes in personnel and organizational structure.

Accordingly, the President of the Korean Football Association announced a list of 27 senior officials, including Vice Presidents, heads of departments, and committee members. Among them, coaches Park Hang Seo and Shin Tae Yong were appointed to the group of KFA Vice Presidents.
The KFA Vice President group consists of five members. Park Hang Seo serves as Vice President in charge of supporting the national team. Shin Tae Yong serves as Vice President in charge of international cooperation. The other members include Kim Byung-ji (President of Gangwon FC), Shin Jeong-sik (President of Jeonnam Football Association), and Professor Lee Yong-soo (Sejong University).
Coach Park Hang Seo's agency, DJ Management, announced: "We are pleased to announce that Mr. Park Hang Seo has been appointed as the new Vice President of the KFA. With his extensive experience and expertise in football, Mr. Park will play a crucial advisory role in national team decisions and contribute to enhancing the image of the KFA."

With his appointment as Vice President of the KFA, Coach Park Hang Seo is expected to help the South Korean national team make significant progress in the coming period.

In addition, being appointed as a "boss" in a large organization like the KFA could also help improve the relationship between Korean and Vietnamese football.
Currently, coach Park Hang Seo runs a football academy bearing his name in Vietnam. The South Korean strategist is also serving as a senior advisor to Bac Ninh FC.
In the past, coach Park Hang Seo led the Vietnamese national team from 2017 to 2023. He helped the "Golden Dragons" create a glorious era, achieving success at many levels.
Some notable achievements include runner-up in the U23 Asian Championship, reaching the semi-finals of the 2018 Asian Games (U23 level), winning the 2018 AFF Cup, and reaching the quarter-finals of the 2019 Asian Cup (national team level).
