The goal of coach Park Hang Seo and his staff is to help Kanchanaburi FC gain promotion to the Thai national league next season.
Sharing on social media, the president of Kanchanaburi FC, Phalang Kanchanaburi, announced: "Welcome Coach Park Hang Seo to Kanchanaburi FC."

After leaving the Vietnamese national team in 2023, Coach Park Hang Seo has not accepted any club coaching offers. Instead, he has taken on an advisory role at Bac Ninh Club and serves as Vice President of the Korean Football Association.
According to Thai media, inviting coach Park Hang Seo shows Kanchanaburi's great ambition to win promotion. The team's management plans to invest a lot of money to allow the South Korean coach to strengthen the squad in order to achieve their promotion goal.
In the past, coach Park Hang Seo has achieved remarkable success with Vietnamese football. He led the Vietnam U23 team to the runner-up position at the 2018 AFC U23 Championship, won the SEA Games in 2019 and 2022, and reached the semi-finals of the 2018 Asian Games. The Vietnam national team also won the 2018 AFF Cup, reached the quarter-finals of the 2019 Asian Cup, and qualified for the third round of the World Cup qualifiers for the first time (2022).
This is what has earned Coach Park Hang Seo prestige in Vietnamese and Southeast Asian football. Despite receiving numerous offers to coach teams in Southeast Asia over the years, he has consistently declined them.
Coach Park Hang Seo emphasized: "I have received many offers, but Thailand is a place where no Korean coach has truly achieved complete success. That's what motivated me to come here to work. I want to contribute to connecting Korean, Vietnamese, and Southeast Asian football."
