Support children of Binh Thuan officials to study in Da Lat after the province's merger

On May 23, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Binh Thuan Le Thi Bich Lien signed an official dispatch to departments, branches, sectors, organizations, agencies and units in the province regarding the registration of school transfer needs for children of officials, civil servants and public employees after the province's merger.

The document clearly stated that, implementing Resolution 60-NQ/TW 2025 dated April 12, 2025 of the 11th Central Conference (term XIII) on the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units, the three provinces of Binh Thuan, Dak Nong and Lam Dong will be merged into the new Lam Dong province, with the political -administrative center located in Da Lat city (current Lam Dong province).

Therefore, to prepare for the merger and facilitate the transfer of children from Binh Thuan to Da Lat City for officials, civil servants and public employees, the Department of Education and Training requests that units notify and organize the registration of transfer needs for children studying at schools in the province.

Agencies and units need to compile a list of students who are children of officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers who wish to transfer schools (according to the prescribed form) and send it to the Binh Thuan Department of Education and Training before May 30, 2025. This list will be reported to the competent authority and coordinated with the Lam Dong Department of Education and Training to develop a suitable learning arrangement plan.

It is known that according to the merger project, there will be about 2,500 cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers from Binh Thuan and Dak Nong moving to Da Lat city to work in the near future.
