Beauty queen writes book to spread the message of green living.

On the afternoon of March 8th, Miss International Environment 2023 Nguyen Thanh Ha met with fans at the Ho Chi Minh City Book Street to celebrate the launch of her book, "Green Crown," published by Tre Publishing House. Through this book, she conveyed the message of living green, clean, and meaningfully for oneself, the community, and the environment.

In 2023, overcoming 65 contestants from all over the world , Nguyen Thanh Ha won the Miss Eco International 2023 crown in Egypt. Her path to the top was not easy, involving arduous training and the struggles and thoughts she had while discovering her own worth, which will be revealed for the first time in the Green Crown competition.

In addition, the book also reveals the challenges in the beauty queen's efforts to protect the environment, as well as revealing behind-the-scenes stories of the projects she undertook during her reign, from helping poor children and supporting women in the Mekong Delta to transition their livelihoods, to promoting local agricultural products, implementing community English programs, and the "Startup Embrace" program... Through this, Nguyen Thanh Ha also shares about the societal prejudices surrounding the term "beauty queen," and the responsibilities and pressures associated with the mission entrusted to her.

During the meeting, over 500 gifts were also distributed as part of the "Exchange Old Books for New Gifts" program. All collected old books will be donated to the Ben Tre Provincial Youth Union. The beauty queen will also donate an additional 1,000 notebooks to those in need.
