Beauty queen writes book to spread green living message

On the afternoon of March 8, Miss International Environment 2023 Nguyen Thanh Ha met with the audience at Ho Chi Minh City Book Street on the occasion of the book Green Crown, written by her, being launched by Tre Publishing House. In 2023, surpassing 65 contestants from all over the world , Nguyen Thanh Ha reached the crown of Miss Eco International 2023 in Egypt. Her path to the highest position was not easy with a journey of hard training as well as her struggles and thoughts in the journey of discovering her own values ​​will be revealed for the first time in Green Crown.

In addition, the book also shows the challenges in the beauty queen's efforts to protect the environment, as well as revealing the "behind-the-scenes stories" of the projects she carried out during her tenure as beauty queen, from helping poor children, supporting women in the Mekong Delta to change their livelihoods to promoting local agricultural products, implementing the Community English program, the Start-up Arms... Through that, Nguyen Thanh Ha also shared about the prejudices of society surrounding the two words "beauty queen", the responsibility and pressure with the mission she was given.

Also in this meeting, more than 500 gifts from the program "Exchange old books for new gifts" were also given. All old books collected after the program will be given to Ben Tre Provincial Youth Union. The beauty queen will also give 1,000 more blank notebooks to those in difficult circumstances.
