In harmony with the nation's determination

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - At the same time that the whole country simultaneously inaugurated and commenced construction on 250 projects commemorating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution, three important projects in Thanh Hoa province also joined in that vibrant atmosphere.

Eighty years ago, the autumn month of August was filled with the fervent spirit of the uprising to seize power, ushering in an era of national independence. Eighty years later, the clear blue autumn sky is filled with the bustling sounds of machinery starting construction, the resounding sound of cannons signaling the beginning of a peak period of labor and production, demonstrating the determination and vision of the nation in this era of progress. The simultaneous commencement and inauguration of 250 projects and works has created a vibrant picture of the present and promises a bright future. Among these, the inauguration of one project and the commencement of two new projects in Thanh Hoa province demonstrate the province's strong determination to keep pace with national development in this new phase.

In the northern industrial zone of the province – Bim Son Industrial Park – COFO Vietnam Tire Co., Ltd. inaugurated its Radial Tire Manufacturing Plant in the presence of provincial leaders, numerous officials, and citizens. The plant's products will serve the export market, but it is expected to contribute $20 million to the state budget, create jobs for 3,500 workers, and further enhance the province's domestic revenue and employment market in the coming years. The inauguration of the project also reaffirms the province's commitment to attracting investment, especially FDI.

Not only focusing on production projects, Thanh Hoa province also places great emphasis on projects serving social welfare. Two of the many projects selected for commencement on this special day are the Hong Son village resettlement area project, serving the land clearance for the North-South high-speed railway section passing through Thanh Hoa province, and the project to upgrade and renovate the Son Thuy Primary and Secondary Boarding School in Son Thuy commune. These are the starting points for a series of particularly important social projects of national significance that will continue in the coming days. According to projections, nearly 40 more resettlement areas serving the North-South high-speed railway project and 20 other school projects in the border region will be started by the province in 2025 and 2026. Specifically, Thanh Hoa province plans to build and renovate 21 schools with a total investment of approximately 1,590 billion VND to improve education for students in border areas.

The moving images on this special day show that political determination has been transformed into concrete action, with projects of 20th-century scale. A new, higher, and more meaningful phase of development has begun after the historic moment of August 19, 2025. And to quickly realize the goals and commitments set forth, it requires all of us to fully understand the spirit that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh directed at the ceremony, which is: "Everyone must work together for the common goal, for the benefit of the people, the nation, and the country." When each level, each sector, and each locality acts urgently and responsibly, all obstacles are removed, potential is unlocked, and the goals will become a reality.
