The results achieved after nearly 40 years of renovation are the foundation and important conditions for Vietnam to realize its strategic vision, enter a new era, an era of national growth, build a peaceful , independent, democratic, prosperous, civilized, happy Vietnam, and steadily move towards socialism.

The cause of building the country and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland has achieved great achievements of historical significance. The theory of renovation, the theory of socialism and the path to socialism have been clearly defined and proven correct by practice. After nearly 40 years of renovation, Vietnam's foundation, potential, position and international prestige have been increasingly enhanced: "Our country has never had such foundation, potential, position and international prestige as today". The three core pillars of Vietnamese socialism are the socialist-oriented market economy , the socialist rule of law state and socialist democracy. These three pillars have a dialectical relationship, influencing and influencing each other. The foundation of the three pillars is the People, “the people are the root”, “the people are the master”, “the people are the center”, the people are both the goal and the driving force, the resource for national development and national defense. The socialist-oriented market economy is the basis and foundation of the socialist rule of law state and socialist democracy; the socialist rule of law state and socialist democracy promote the strong development of the socialist-oriented market economy. After 40 years of renovation, the socialist-oriented market economy has developed strongly, the level of the economy has been raised to a higher level, the scale of the economy in 2023 will reach 430 billion USD, ranking 35th in the world, 5th in ASEAN, GDP per capita will reach nearly 4,300 USD, nearly 58 times higher than after three decades, the poverty rate has decreased from 58% (according to the old standard) in 1993 to 2.93% (according to the multidimensional poverty standard with higher criteria than before) in 2023. The macro economy is basically stable, inflation is controlled, the major balances of the economy are ensured, maintaining a relatively high economic growth compared to the region and the world. The overall national strength has been increasing . After nearly 40 years of renovation, Vietnam has maintained its independence, sovereignty, unity, territorial integrity and socialist orientation; Maintain the leadership and ruling role of the Party, ensure the effective management role of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, strongly promote the mastery of the People; ensure the highest national interests on the basis of the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter and international law, equality, cooperation, mutual benefit. The fields of culture, society, education and training, science and technology, health care... all have remarkable development. Cultural, social and human development has made much progress. The national value system, cultural value system, family value system and Vietnamese human standards have been shaped. People's health has been cared for; medical examination and treatment have access to many advanced techniques in the world. Foreign relations have been expanded, international integration has become increasingly effective. Vietnam has been clearly demonstrating its role as a friend, a reliable partner, and a responsible member of the international community. Vietnam's position and prestige in the international arena are increasingly affirmed and enhanced. From a country severely devastated by war, Vietnam has risen to become a symbol of peace, stability, hospitality, and a destination for international investors and tourists. From a backward economy, Vietnam has risen to be among the Top 40 leading economies, with a trade scale in the Top 20 countries in the world, an important link in 16 FTAs connecting with 60 key economies in the region and globally. From a besieged and isolated country, Vietnam has established diplomatic relations with 193 United Nations member states, has strategic partnerships and comprehensive partnerships with 30 countries, including all major countries, and is an active member of over 70 regional and international organizations. Taking the happiness and prosperity of the people as the goal to strive for, Vietnam is considered by the United Nations and international friends as a success story, a bright spot in hunger eradication and poverty reduction, constantly improving the material and spiritual life of the people. The Doi Moi initiated and led by our Party is a historic choice, a great creative cause of historical stature, of great significance, in line with Vietnam's reality, the laws and general development trends of the times. The political , economic, cultural, social, scientific - technological, educational - training, health, physical education - sports, national defense - security, and foreign affairs potential of our country is constantly improving. After nearly 40 years of Doi Moi, a new foundation, potential, position, international prestige, and a new vision for our country to enter a new era, an era of the Vietnamese people's rise. This is also the time when the Party's will blends with the people's hearts in the aspiration to build a prosperous and happy country, soon successfully build socialism, and stand shoulder to shoulder with the world powers.
