Each stroke of the pen carries so much love.

Even after retirement, my heart still lingers with nostalgia.

The students left a lasting impression.

These lines of poetry evoke a mixed feeling in me: respect, gratitude, and a touch of nostalgia for the retired teachers. They are the ones who dedicated their lives, their youth, and their passion to sowing the seeds of knowledge and guiding countless generations of students to grow and mature. Now, as they embark on a new chapter in their lives, we are not only grateful for their silent contributions but also feel a void that is difficult to fill in our beloved school.

Deep respect and gratitude

The retired teacher who left me with the deepest respect and gratitude is Ms. Do Thi Thuy Van (Tran Hung Dao Primary School, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).

From the very first days I started working here, I learned so much about my profession and about life from the dedicated teacher she taught me. She is a teacher who is constantly devoted to her work. She not only imparts basic knowledge such as reading, writing, math, science , history, and geography, but also teaches students life values ​​and moral qualities, instilling in them love, respect for others, and a sense of responsibility.

For many students, she is always a source of encouragement, helping them overcome difficulties in their studies and in life. She ignites a passion for learning in each student through creative teaching methods and engaging lessons, making every class attractive and captivating. As a result, students not only acquire knowledge but also learn to explore , become curious, and develop a love for learning, laying the foundation for their future academic journey. For many students, she is also a friend, someone who has grown up with them, sharing their childhood years.

For me, the image of her enthusiasm during lessons, standing at the podium, or staying late in the classroom to help struggling students, is incredibly beautiful and impressive. As the head of the subject department, she always updates her knowledge, teaching methods, and techniques to share in professional development meetings, helping teachers improve their skills. For me – a new teacher – she helped me integrate and master teaching methods and techniques, as well as how to manage the classroom effectively.

I had been back at the school for a few years when she retired. Upon retirement, she received not only affection and gratitude from her students but also from her colleagues and parents. She was a shining example of dedication, sacrifice, and love for her profession. She was also the one who inspired me, giving me more confidence and strength to move forward on my educational path.
